Role:
KAAST Machine Tools Inc. is looking for a driven and experienced Senior Service & Warehouse Manager to lead our operations at our Aldan, PA facility. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee both service operations and warehouse logistics for a dynamic industrial machinery company. Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the service department, including scheduling field technicians and in-house repair workflows Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, shipping, and order fulfillment Ensure timely and accurate processing of machine tool parts, equipment, and service orders Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and service operations Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse and service staff to maintain high performance standards Coordinate with sales, logistics, and technical teams to ensure seamless customer service delivery Manage vendor relationships, parts procurement, and inventory control systems
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in warehouse management, service operations, or a related industrial/manufacturing role Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, ERP software, and logistics processes Experience in machine tools, industrial equipment, or heavy machinery is highly preferred Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, parts diagrams, and service documentation Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously Helpful technical knowledge would include CNC, PLC, and VFD controls, 3-phase and servo motors, ballscrews and gearboxes, hydraulic systems, Fanuc controls, and rigging procedures Approximately 10% travel required (limited to two annual tradeshows and the most complex installation/service cases).
