Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Delivery Driver/Supervisor to join our team in the Latrobe, Everett area. This role combines the hands-on responsibilities of delivering tires, tubes and wheels with leadership duties to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting tires, supervising delivery processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering outstanding service while overseeing daily delivery operations. Responsibilities Safely operate a 26 foot box truck and adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load, unload, and secure tires using manual handling techniques. Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices and GPS tools to optimize time and fuel consumption. Supervise delivery drivers, providing guidance on safe driving practices, load management, and customer interactions. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, route logs, and incident reports to ensure compliance with safety regulations using Samsara. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with knowledge of route driving and delivery procedures. Strong understanding of commercial truck driving and safe lifting practices. Familiarity with DOT regulations, weight handling in the workplace, and adherence to traffic laws. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Ability to operate mobile devices for route navigation, reporting, and communication purposes.
