POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations to ensure efficient organization, accurate inventory management, and timely preparation of materials for floral and event productions. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate logistics in a fast-paced, creative environment. The Warehouse Manager will work closely with the floral design, event production, and logistics teams to support successful event execution. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for coordinating execution of events, installations, preparation, inventory management, and quality assurance with all teams ensuring standards of excellence are adhered to. The Warehouse Manager will help and support the efforts of continual training development and uphold the fluency of all Cescaphe policies and procedures and is current with the handbook guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership Interacts with all employees to develop a high level of teamwork, productivity and morale; resolves conflicts constructively and professionally. Responds to employee needs, requests, and concerns in a timely manner and with demonstrated fairness. Motivates others to increase performance and learning. Supervise staff to maximize efficiency. Oversee scheduling process ensuring business needs are supported. Oversee team performance management supporting growth, development, and accountability. Operational Responsible for understanding proposals, pull sheets and delivery information as well as product knowledge (i.e.; fresh and dried products used by the department). Uses objectives, schedules, policies, and procedures to obtain desired levels of productivity. Maintains well-organized files and materials, creating a productive and efficient work environment. Oversee inventory control systems; track usage, conduct regular counts, and ensure stock levels are sufficient for upcoming events. Document and reconcile recipe discrepancies as they relate to the jobs and designers to contribute to continuous learning and improvement of the team. Team Time Management; scheduling staff for both in studio and on site designing, review timecards and reconcile discrepancies daily, approves time off as necessary Organizing event information Oversee maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, tools, and event assets Confirm details of delivery information for arrangement pickup and delivery Check out all event arrangements with each team lead Check for errors in the production paperwork to ensure flawless execution Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff. Development Identify and develop internal talent. Responsible for participating in interviewing and onboarding of new hires as needed for production. Ongoing interest and passion for innovation for self-development. Take advantage of all available resources to improve productivity levels of service. Additional tasks a required
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree preferred OR equivalent combination of education or experience Two (2) years of industry experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING ENVIRONMENT
(Frequency of mobility, lifting, climbing, standing, siting, reaching, speaking, vision, color vision, outdoors/indoors, noise level, fumes/odor, chemical exposure or any other environmental hazards) Prolonged periods of standing, climbing/balancing, stooping/bending. Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. Requires ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing. Ability to sustain long periods of loud noise and vibrations. Use of color vision and vision. Ability to work in an outdoor environment including exposure to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, or snow.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
