A Virginia state agency in downtown Richmond is moving every division that collects revenue or handles deposits to a new banking partner, and it needs a program manager to run the transition. This is a contract seat through our firm, a Virginia SWaM certified small business. It starts in mid October and runs for about a year, and extensions are common but never promised.

What you would do:

manage the transition end to end across seven divisions, the agency's comptroller office, its technology services team and the new bank's own people. You make sure every division's requirements are documented completely up front. You map how each division works today and help it change those processes to take full advantage of the new banking technology. You drive on time delivery with clear milestones and managed cross division dependencies, keep every stakeholder aligned on the schedule, and present to executives. What the agency needs to see.
