Job Description

Company's Mission To provide and deliver to our customers a wide selection of fresh, local, in-season, nutrient-dense produce from an abundance of local growers. Purpose of this position This role is essential in ensuring that our fresh, locally sourced produce and products arrive on time and in excellent condition. You are responsible for transporting goods from the warehouse to designated delivery locations. You are skilled at planning efficient routes, operating vehicles safely, verifying deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. You have a meticulous eye and a strong commitment to getting the details right every time. Education/Experience Experience driving a Sprinter van is helpful but not required.
Job Duties Include Logistics Coordination:
Planning and coordinating the transportation of goods from the warehouse to designated delivery locations, scheduling deliveries, and optimizing delivery processes for efficiency.
Customer Service:
Providing excellent customer service to delivery recipients, addressing any issues or concerns, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Record-Keeping and Reporting:
Maintaining accurate records of deliveries. Must have an attention to detail and ability to follow through on all tasks. Skills Good at communicating clearly through speaking, writing, and online tools like email and messaging. Pays close attention to details to get tasks done accurately. Sticks with tasks until they're finished. Can switch between tasks easily without getting stressed. Can work alone with confidence. Takes action without being told, and can figure things out independently. Treats others well, respecting their feelings and belongings. Takes responsibility for their actions and duties. Manages time well and is always punctual. Solves problems by thinking critically and finding solutions. Listens to and follows instructions from leaders or managers. The wage offered is subject to deductions for taxes as required by law and withholdings reflective of company policies. The hourly for a delivery driver varies greatly in the state of Michigan based on experience, industry and company needs. Mi Farm Co-op has a range of compensation set from $17-$20 an hour.
