Your tasks As the Warehouse Manager you will direct and manage all aspects of the warehouse department including, but not limited to workforce development and training (team of 5), material management, storage, inventory control, logistics, and kitting processes. You will manage all material on-site and located at 3rd party off-site warehouses. Additionally, you ensure effective day-to-day processing of shipping/receiving and parts fulfillment to meet both in-house and external customer requirements in a timely manner. Lead Warehousing Team in day to day duties in order to maximize efficiencies, increase productivity and improve work quality Oversee recruitment, coaching, training and performance management for the Warehousing Team (currently 6 full-time employees) Manage the production schedule and production work orders to ensure project delivery objectives are met Coordinate with Engineering to understand and implement released Engineering Change Orders (ECO) into Production Coordinate with Installation Support & Facilities Manager to determine the rotation of production employees on project installation support Ensure proper inventory procedures are followed Prepare projects for safe shipment ensuring completeness Ensure all quality standards are met Maintain involvement in the recruitment, selection, motivation, and disciplinary actions for all production associates Support ISO Certification process by implementing lean processes and controls designed to increase productivity, improve quality and reduce costs., i.e. follows NCMR process, maintains DHR files, etc. Create and maintain key performance indicators to measure success of deliveries and warehouse operations Your profile High School Diploma and five years of production supervisory experience Demonstrated safety awareness and training in a manufacturing/warehouse environment including familiarity with MSDS procedures and requirements Experience and training in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma Experience with Production Scheduling Quality system experience and training Proficiency in MS Office Suite Excellent verbal and written skills Able to lift thirty pounds unassisted as required Proficiency using hand, power, and air tools Ability to read blue prints Forklift driver certification Our offer As a full-time team member, you will be eligible for our excellent benefits package to include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, 401(k) with a company match, paid time off and more!
