  • Obtains and maintains forklift and walk-behind stacker certification.
  • Obtains and maintains first-aid / CPR / BBP certification.
  • Trains team members as they are on boarded. Ensures that a positive example is set for all team members.
  • Recognizes when team members need coaching and provides immediate coaching when applicable.
  • Trains warehouse team members in all aspects of floor operations to include baling, loading/unloading transport vehicles and power industrial equipment operation. Ensures that a positive example is set for all team members.
  • Demonstrates a mastery in production and customer service management through evaluation.
  • Reports known or suspected security and/or theft problems to a member of store management, appropriate District Manager, and/or Asset Protection department.
  • Complies with all agency policies, procedures, and safety standards throughout all work areas; maintains same to meet CARF, Department of Labor, and other regulatory standards.
  • Leads warehouse team and activities in the absence of/and at the direction of the Warehouse Manager; see Supervisory Responsibilities below.
  • Performs all administrative and clerical duties including but not limited to completing opening/closing duties, internal and external communications, and securing the building at the direction of the Warehouse Manager in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Ensures compliance with established safety, security, and record keeping procedures and practices.
  • Assist Warehouse Manager with coordination of salvage pickups.
  • Assist in floor optimization for space based on product flow to ensure efficient production.
  • Obtain and maintain Medical DOT certification for back up needs on box trucks.
  • Assists Truck Drivers and other agency personnel in performance of their duties.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, available to open and/or close assigned retail location as required, make bank deposits, and secure building to ensure success of the operation.
  • Must be able to respond to emergencies at any time as needed.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
