This critical leadership role owns safety, food safety compliance, inventory accuracy and traceability, team development, budget performance, and operational efficiency across a multi-shift, seven-day-a-week operation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, manufacturing-adjacent environment and has a strong track record of building teams and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead daily and strategic warehouse operations, with accountability for safety, quality, throughput, inventory accuracy, service, and cost performance. Build, develop, and retain high-performing teams while creating a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. Establish and manage warehouse KPIs, identifying performance gaps and driving corrective actions. Oversee inbound raw and packaging materials, staging, and timely material supply to production. Own inventory control and traceability, including lot-code tracking, FIFO/FEFO, cycle counting, and root-cause resolution of inventory variances. Ensure accurate loading/unloading, on-time shipping, case-fill performance, recordkeeping, SOP compliance, safety, and housekeeping. Partner closely with manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product and material flow across shifts. Champion Lean and cost-saving initiatives, eliminating waste and delivering sustainable process improvements. Maintain compliance with food safety standards, GMPs, andAIB/GFSI
audit requirements. Manage staffing, warehouse capacity, budgets, forecasting, and required operational reporting. Maintain regular on-site presence across shifts, including scheduled nights and weekends, with occasional travel to other Gehl facilities.Requirements:
What You Bring 10+ years of progressive warehouse/distribution leadership experience, including 5+ years in management. Food or beverage industry experience, including hands-on lot tracking, traceability, and stock rotation in a regulated environment. Strong Lean/continuous improvement background. Experience supporting manufacturing and partnering with production, logistics, and supply chain functions. Demonstrated success building, coaching, and developing teams. Proficiency with warehouse management systems; Ross/Aptean ERP experience is a significant plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively from the warehouse floor through senior leadership.Benefits
