At MacArthur, you get to own a piece of the value our combined honest efforts create. The Assistant Warehouse Manager is a point of contact between customers, the sales team, and the warehouse. This position ensures a smooth process within the warehouse. The position includes filing paperwork, delegating tasks to the warehouse, assisting your immediate supervisor, filling in as acting warehouse manager as needed, scheduling inbound and outbound shipments, and supporting a positive and constructive work environment. Duties/Responsibilities include the following : Checking/knowing the status of incoming and outgoing shipments, and being able to set up the schedule accordingly Set up outgoing shipments with various LTL, Courier, and third-party logistics companies Communicate with all departments and keep everyone up to date and on the same page Looking at open order reports and writing up reports for the sales team Customer service; we work face-to-face with a lot of our customers daily Take calls from dispatchers and drivers to schedule shipments coming in Complete monthly/annual safety reports, along with daily cycle counts Keep an orderly and manageable schedule for the week
