The Building/Warehouse Manager will be responsible for maintaining warehouse organization, assisting with inventory and parts, overseeing the general condition of the building and property, completing office paperwork, and coordinating day-to-day warehouse activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working in both a warehouse and office environment, and willing to jump in wherever needed. Responsibilities Oversee the daily organization and operation of the plumbing and HVAC warehouse. Maintain designated locations for HVAC equipment, plumbing materials, parts, tools, and supplies. Assist with receiving, checking, organizing, and putting away incoming equipment and materials. Monitor inventory levels and help identify parts, materials, and supplies that need to be reordered. Ensure technicians and team members can quickly locate the equipment, parts, and materials they need. Maintain accurate paperwork and documentation related to warehouse operations, inventory, equipment, deliveries, purchase orders, and other office responsibilities. Perform data entry and maintain organized electronic and paper records. Help coordinate deliveries, pickups, returns, and movement of equipment and materials. Monitor the general condition of the building and property and report or coordinate necessary maintenance and repairs. Maintain clean and safe work areas by removing trash, keeping aisles clear, and ensuring materials are stored properly. Help maintain company tools and equipment and ensure items are returned to their proper locations. Assist with periodic inventory counts and help investigate inventory discrepancies. Follow company procedures and workplace safety requirements. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse organization, inventory control, and daily operations. Perform additional administrative, warehouse, and facility-related duties as needed. Requirements Previous warehouse, inventory, facilities, or management experience preferred. Plumbing, HVAC, construction, or trades-related experience is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain accurate paperwork and records. Basic computer skills, including email, data entry, and Microsoft Office. Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, managers, vendors, and office staff. Dependable and able to work independently without constant supervision. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working in both an office and warehouse setting. Willingness to perform hands-on tasks, including cleaning, organizing, stocking, and moving materials. Ability to safely lift and move heavy equipment, parts, and materials as required. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their workspace and understands that an organized warehouse helps the entire company operate more efficiently. The right person will take pride in keeping the facility clean and organized, staying on top of paperwork and inventory, and making sure our plumbing and HVAC teams have what they need to serve our customers. If you are dependable, organized, proactive, and enjoy a position that combines warehouse management with administrative responsibilities, we would love to have you join the HEP team.
