This position reports to:
Manufacturing Unit Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead supply planning, inventory management, and resource management in the regional distribution center or local Sales organization. Each day, you will drive planning initiatives to improve customer on-time delivery and lead time. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring adherence to inventory and supply plan. The work model for the role is: Onsite in Selmer, TN {#LI-onsite} This role is contributing to the success of the Busway manufacturing facility located in Selmer, TN inNAM ELDS.
You will be mainly accountable for: Owning the site supply planning process. Providing visibility of supply capacity and local supply objectives into the Sales and Operations Planning process. Running a short-term planning process or Sales & Operation Execution process, ensuring seamless alignment between planning and execution. Supporting the profitable execution of customer orders, in coordination with business functions and Supply units (feeder factories). Qualifications for the role Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, logistics, materials management, or fulfillment operations OR Associate's degree in a related field and 7+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, logistics, materials management, or fulfillment operations OR High School Diploma/GED and equivalent work and/or military experience and 9+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, logistics, materials management, or fulfillment operations Minimum of 2 years leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional projects. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US. Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of demand planning, production planning, inventory control, and customer fulfillment processes. Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and planning tools. Experience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes. Understanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence principles. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading planning and fulfillment transformations. Knowledge of forecasting methodologies and supply chain analytics.
