Job Description Summary:
The purpose of this position is to provide exceptional customer service and the efficient, timely and accurate distribution of material to the Colleges campuses to support the Colleges operations.
This is accomplished by:
conducting business in a professional manner; delivery of material to the various campus departments; scan and track materials delivered; providing distribution services for the Colleges mail; conducting routine maintenance of equipment; and maintaining warehouse facilities. Other duties include additional assignments as needed and assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
One (1) year of related experience. Valid Texas Driver License with ability to be insurable by Del Mar College.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge to perform basic math, read & follow instructions, understand multi-step written & oral instructions. Skills to operate equipment used in warehouse functions and motor vehicles. Ability to read and interpret documents, maintain custody and control of packages, parcels, mail and materials during transit and delivery to intended recipient, correctly process associated delivery tickets and other documents.
