Industrial / Refinery Construction Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee receiving, inventory control, material storage, and controlled distribution for a large-scale industrial refinery project. This position will lead the warehouse and receiving team while ensuring equipment and materials are accurately received, properly stored, protected from damage, and issued to the field when needed. The Warehouse Manager will work closely with Quality, Procurement, Construction, and field teams to maintain inventory accuracy, resolve material holds and nonconformances, and ensure materials are available on schedule without compromising safety or quality. Responsibilities Own all warehouse receiving, inventory control, storage, and material issue activities. Lead, train, and hold warehouse and receiving personnel accountable for safety, accuracy, and productivity. Verify all equipment and material deliveries against purchase orders, packing lists, and project requirements. Inspect incoming materials for quantity, condition, identification, and visible damage. Ensure equipment and materials are properly labeled, tracked, stored, and protected from damage or deterioration. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure material movements are properly documented. Control the issue of equipment and materials to field personnel based on approved requirements. Coordinate with Construction teams to ensure the right materials are available at the right time. Work closely with Procurement to resolve shortages, incorrect deliveries, damaged materials, and outstanding orders. Partner with Quality to manage material holds, nonconformances, inspections, and corrective actions through resolution. Monitor warehouse operations to improve accuracy, organization, safety, and material flow. Establish and maintain warehouse procedures for receiving, storage, handling, and material issue. Conduct inventory checks and investigate discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy. Ensure proper handling of heavy equipment, materials, and components within the warehouse and laydown areas. Maintain organized documentation and traceability for all received and issued materials. Identify potential material shortages or delivery issues that could impact construction schedules and communicate them proactively. Qualifications 5+ years of warehouse, material management, inventory, logistics, or industrial construction experience. Previous experience supervising or managing warehouse, receiving, or material-handling teams. Experience working on large-scale industrial, refinery, manufacturing, energy, or construction projects preferred. Strong understanding of receiving, inventory control, material handling, and warehouse operations. Experience verifying equipment and materials against purchase orders, packing lists, and project documentation. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and inventory accuracy. Experience resolving material holds, shortages, damaged materials, and nonconformances. Ability to coordinate effectively with Quality, Procurement, Construction, and field teams. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple material requirements while maintaining safety and accuracy. Experience with warehouse management systems, inventory software, or ERP systems preferred. Ability to work in an industrial warehouse and laydown-yard environment.
