CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Site Ownership Directly manage the site's functional shift supervisors (Inbound, Outbound, and Retail), Lead daily operations, staffing decisions, and issue resolution Lead as a true player-coach — willing and able to step onto the floor to model standards, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and drive urgency during peak periods or staffing gaps Act as the single point of accountability for site performance, representing the warehouse to senior leadership when the Director is unavailable Inbound Own inbound freight management, vendor PO processing & transfer handling Partner with Logistics to ensure freight efficiency, vendor PO processing & transfer handling Set and enforce ASN accuracy & dock-to-stock SLA targets Own receiving quality standards: damage inspection, quantity validation & system reconciliation Outbound Own execution of daily DTC, retail replenishment (EDI/non-EDI) & B2B wholesale fulfillment Own wave planning strategy & labor deployment against carrier cutoffs Own routing guide, manifest and shipment documentation compliance Drive continuous reduction of shorts, backorders & fulfillment exceptions Returns & Etching Team Own end-to-end returns strategy: receipt, grading, disposition & restocking Own etching/personalization capacity planning & scheduling Own return reason code tracking & quality trend analysis, driving root-cause resolution P&L & Financial Ownership Manage P&L for the distribution center, including labor cost, freight cost & operational spend within budget guidance Manage budget planning, variance analysis & cost-reduction initiatives Report on financial and operational performance to leadership People & Systems Manage hiring, onboarding & development strategy for a 100-120-person site Build and sustain a performance culture through coaching, feedback & accountability Author & maintain SOPs; set policy for site-level operations Produce SITREPs & KPI reporting for leadership Identify, scope & execute continuous improvement initiatives independently

QUALIFICATIONS 3-5
years of Operations Manager experience in single or multi-site DC/fulfillment operations Proven experience managing $30M+ in product volume/throughput Demonstrated ability to operate independently, including acting-leader or interim-director experience Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required E-Commerce — high-volume DTC fulfillment, SLA & carrier management Retail & B2B — EDI, routing guide compliance, wholesale operations Proven leadership of teams of 100+ employees Systems — WMS ShipHero, NetSuite, or equivalent Strong fit for high-growth, low-structure environments — builds systems and drives results independently, comfortable being both a leader and a doer Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
