Job Description
Company Overview IPC-Tags, LLC is a small, privately-owned company specializing in the distribution and production of barcode labels for textiles since 1985. We foster a positive and encouraging office atmosphere that emphasizes solutions-oriented approaches. Office in a new building with plenty of natural light, a clean and organized warehouse, and parking at the building. Summary This is a part-time position that anticipated to average 40 hours per month, but weekly hours will vary significantly depending on product demand. Candidates should have demonstrated exceptional mechanical aptitude and ideally have experience operating machine shop equipment Significant flexibility in work hours between 8:00am and 5:00pm weekdays as mutually agreed. The ideal person would be retired or semi-retired, has a strong attention to detail, works well with co-workers, enjoys a variety of responsibilities. Responsibilities Operate and maintain die-cutting machinery used in the production of labels. Operate and maintain other light equipment such as heat seal machines, shrink-wrap machines. Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment as needed. Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency. Maintain accurate records of production output and machine performance. Assist in inventory management, ordering needs for production, receiving raw materials Picking up packages/mail from UPS store in Grapevine Some handyman duties. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Requirements Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with inventory control processes is essential. Ability to work collaboratively within a small team setting. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
