Full-time Leadership responsibility: Yes Main position objectives The Warehouse Manager completes various management, organization, and planning tasks to maintain high performance of the warehouse's inventory, receiving and shipping processes. In addition, the Warehouse Manager leads their team by setting productivity and accuracy goals, setting up logical organization systems and by creating communication systems within the organization. The core function of the Inventory Manager is to drive daily engagement and accountability in continuous improvement by implementing 5S, Problem Solving, Standard Work and driving a kaizen culture where team members are involved and engaged in improving their own work areas. Position description - Tasks, responsibilities, competencies Ensure that the warehouse and the team operate at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal

Direct shipments and resolve logistical challenges by communicating with clients, sales, transportation providers, manufacturers, and suppliers

Initiates problem solving methodologies like 5 WHY and FAST on recurring issues.

Promotes and supports Daily Kaizen activity among team members.

Drives daily engagement and accountability for results as part of the daily Tier meeting structure. Escalates opportunities in a timely manner and seeks rapid responses from other team members and departments. Communicates actions back to his team members.

Determine standards for quality control and set expectations for the inspection of inventory and packaging before orders are sent to the next location

Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping protocols

Strategize inventory volumes and warehouse capacity to maximize productivity

Audit and report inventory

Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with the Director of Operations and other area leaders

Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employee'sknowledge base

Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely mannerwhile building strong trust-based working relationships

Develop and implement Process Improvements, including new technology, for all warehouse-related functions

Spearhead improvements in material flow, layout and inventory organization

Promote a healthy and safe work environment, encourage continuous improvement spirit within team

Lead and participate in inventory audit requirements, ensuring processes align with expected results

The incumbent considers all interests of quality, accident prevention and occupational safety as well as environmental safety in a preventive manner within his scope of responsibility and proactively supports the avoidance of damages to people, facilities, assets, material and environment

While performing the duties of this job in a factory setting, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is expected to lift and handle goods weighing 50 lbs or less Job Specification Education (area of studies, Management, IT etc.) Mandatory Associate's degree or High School Diploma or GED with coursework in Career and Technical Education Desirable Four year business or technical degree Professional experience (description incl. No. of years) Mandatory Strong working knowledge of MRP systems

3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment

2 years' experience with inventory management and transactions

Minimum of 2 years management/leadership experience either within or beyond manufacturing Desirable Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Work, Excel)

Lean/Continuous Improvement experience in process, process flow, organization and waste reduction, or willingness to gain certification in areas required by the business Interpersonal skills and behavioral competencies Mandatory Demonstration of strong leadership / management skills
