Key Responsibilities Leadership & Oversight:

Direct all facility operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and success in production, inventory accuracy, and profitability.

Team Management:

Supervise staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and fostering team development.

Customer Service & Integrity:

Ensure exceptional service and accurate material purchases on both ferrous and nonferrous scales.

Quality Assurance:

Verify that outbound materials meet both customer and company specifications.

Safety & Cleanliness:

Maintain a safe environment for employees, customers, and visitors while ensuring the facility, yard, and office are clean and organized.

Equipment Maintenance:

Oversee preventative and emergency maintenance of all facility equipment.

Communication:

Collaborate with the sales team to align material pricing and ensure timely shipping of materials. Qualifications Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a metal recycling or industrial environment. Strong leadership skills with a hands-on management style. Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Commitment to safety standards and maintaining a clean work environment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with teams and customers while meeting deadlines. Proficiency in inventory management and production processes is a plus.
