\n Manages all warehouse activities. Provide guidance, expertise and leadership to Warehouse Supervisors and Associates. Manager may be required to work different shifts to resolve/cover/support the management team. \n \nREPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
\n The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary. \n \n \n \n Manage Warehouse Supervisors and Associates providing guidance and expertise. \n Responsible for all warehouse operations. \n Responsible for all vacations and planned objectives. \n Develops work schedules and assigns supervisors accordingly. \n Initiate and monitor all safety policies. \n Monitor regulatory compliance. \n Review completed accident reports. \n Evaluate performance of Associates. \n Responsible to ensure warehouse and grounds are always clean and orderly. \n May conduct performance reviews. \n Partner with Human Resources to interview and hire most qualified person for openings. \n Train all or ensure that all warehouse personnel are trained on all warehouse equipment. \n Provide coaching, counseling, and discipline up to and including termination of employment as necessary or recommend such to the Director of Warehouse Operations. \n Drive P&L initiatives. \n Performs other duties as required. \n \n \nEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION
\n \n \n Bachelor's Degree in related field and 7 years Warehouse Management experience; OR 10 years Warehouse Management experience. \n Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. \n Previous experience in union environment. \n Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to develop and motivate high performing teams. \n Experience developing and managing to daily KPIs to understand performance and progress towards long term strategic goals \n Proven ability to use analytics and management reporting to develop and execute improvement actions. \n Related training or certification. \n Experience working in a team environment. \n Previous WMS (Warehouse Management System) experience. \n Experience in Food Safety environment developing and executing GMPs, allergen and sanitation programs in a warehousing environment. \n \n \n We offer a competitive salary of $70,000 - $75,000 annually . Excellent benefits which include medical, dental and vision.
