$35 per hour About Bliss Kiss Bliss Kiss is a family-owned nail and skin care brand based in Olympia, Washington. Founded in 2012, we manufacture and ship our own products, including cuticle oils, nail-biting deterrents, lotions, and balms. Our products are sold through Amazon, our own website, and soon TikTok Shop. As we continue to grow, we are building the systems, processes, and leadership structure needed to support a reliable, high-performing operation. The Role The Manufacturing & Fulfillment Manager is the primary on-site leader for Bliss Kiss's daily manufacturing, warehouse, and fulfillment operations. This role directly leads eight manufacturing team members and is responsible for coordinating daily work, managing schedules and training, ensuring SOPs are followed, monitoring safety and quality, and solving routine operational issues on the floor. You will work closely with our Inventory & Purchasing Manager, a peer-level operations partner, to turn weekly priorities into an executable daily plan. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is comfortable managing people, improving processes, making practical decisions, and working directly alongside the team. Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership Lead, coach, and support eight manufacturing team members. Coordinate daily schedules, attendance, time-off requests, work assignments, and cross-training. Ensure team members are trained across multiple manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, and fulfillment functions. Provide day-to-day coaching, feedback, and accountability. Own the daily team schedule and floor assignments. Work with the CEO on hiring, performance management, disciplinary decisions, and other personnel matters. Help plan for temporary or seasonal staffing needs during future peak periods. Manufacturing and Warehouse Operations Execute the daily and weekly production plan in partnership with the Inventory & Purchasing Manager. Coordinate the full manufacturing workflow, including formulation, mixing, filling, labeling, packaging, assembly, and finished-goods preparation. Manage production across Bliss Kiss product lines, including oils, lotions, balms, Bite-Free, and related packaging. Assign and adjust work throughout the day based on priorities, staffing, equipment, and production progress. Organize and maintain the warehouse, including receiving, put-away, material flow, and finished-goods storage. Monitor physical inventory movement and coordinate with the Inventory & Purchasing Manager to resolve discrepancies. Serve as the first point of escalation for routine facility, equipment, staffing, and workflow issues. Coordinate equipment problems with the Automation & Equipment Reliability lead or outside repair specialists. Maintain a safe, organized, and productive working environment. SOPs, Quality, and Documentation Learn and understand the complete Bliss Kiss manufacturing and warehouse workflow. Review existing SOPs for accuracy, clarity, and practicality. Ensure manufacturing team members are following current SOPs consistently. Ensure required quality checks are completed during manufacturing and packaging. Ensure batches are logged accurately and consistently. Review production documentation for completeness and escalate discrepancies, defects, or process concerns. Recommend SOP and process improvements when equipment, products, or business needs change. Fulfillment Oversee daily fulfillment across Shopify and Amazon Seller Central. Manage Amazon FBA preparation and shipment requirements. Support direct-to-customer shipping through Shopify. Help prepare the operation for TikTok Shop fulfillment. Monitor order accuracy, shipping deadlines, packaging standards, and customer-impacting issues. Coordinate manufacturing and fulfillment priorities so the team remains focused on the most important products and orders. Systems and Reporting Use and help improve Bliss Kiss's operational systems, including QuickBooks, custom production-tracking software, Shopify, and Amazon Seller Central. Track and report key daily and weekly operating metrics. Monitor production progress, fulfillment accuracy, attendance, training, inventory movement, and recurring operational issues. Identify bottlenecks and recommend practical improvements. What Success Looks Like The team has a clear, capable on-site leader for daily decisions. Routine operational issues are handled at the team level instead of defaulting to the CEO. Production and fulfillment consistently meet daily and weekly priorities. Team members are trained across multiple functions. SOPs are accurate, current, and consistently followed. Quality checks and batch documentation are completed accurately. The warehouse remains organized and efficient. Equipment, staffing, and process issues are identified early and appropriately resolved or escalated. The operation is prepared to scale as Bliss Kiss continues to grow. Qualifications and Experience At least 3 years of experience supervising or managing hourly employees in manufacturing, warehouse, fulfillment, or production operations. Experience scheduling, coaching, training, and managing the performance of a hands-on team. Comfortable working directly on the floor and leading by example. Strong organizational skills and sound judgment when making daily priority decisions. Experience with consumer goods, personal-care products, cosmetics, e-commerce, or a similar environment is preferred. Experience with Amazon Seller Central, Amazon FBA, Shopify, inventory systems, or production-tracking software is preferred. Familiarity with production equipment and willingness to learn Bliss Kiss's specific machines and processes. Clear, direct, and respectful communication style. Ability to identify problems, take practical action, and know when an issue requires escalation. Physical Requirements and Work Environment Ability to stand and walk on the production floor for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally. Ability to perform light physical work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. Ability to work on-site Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Occasional schedule flexibility may be needed during peak periods or as the business grows.
