Job Summary A growing manufacturing-related operation in Seattle, WA is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for a temp-to-hire opportunity. The Warehouse Manager will oversee daily receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, staffing, safety, and warehouse organization. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
- Lead, coach, train, and develop warehouse employees while building a positive, safe, and accountable team environment.
- Assign daily work, adjust staffing and priorities, and ensure warehouse activity aligns with incoming and outgoing volume.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by investigating discrepancies, shortages, damages, and shipping or receiving errors.
- Monitor workflow, organization, and performance to identify opportunities for improved productivity, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Coordinate with operations, purchasing, customer service, production, sales, and other departments to support timely material and product movement. Compensation and Benefits

- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations across receiving, storage, inventory, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Lead warehouse employees, assign work, support training, and maintain accountability on the floor.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, support cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies.
- Improve warehouse processes, safety practices, workflow, and operational efficiency.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant warehouse, distribution, inventory, logistics, manufacturing, or operations leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, and warehouse organization.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment.
- Comfortable using warehouse management, inventory, ERP, or similar computer systems.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Ability to make sound operational decisions while balancing productivity, accuracy, and safety.
- Strong safety mindset with the ability to enforce procedures and proper equipment practices.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, customer service, production, sales, and other teams. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food and beverage distribution, aerospace, engineering, manufacturing, retail distribution, or similar high-volume environments.
- Forklift and material-handling equipment knowledge.
- Experience supporting cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, and inventory reconciliation.
- Background improving warehouse processes, standardizing procedures, or tracking operational performance metrics.
