Job Description
A Little Rock based food manufacturer is seeking a hands-on Dock & Inventory Supervisor to coordinate daily shipping and receiving, outbound freight, inbound scheduling, and finished-goods inventory while supervising our forklift drivers. This person will serve as the traffic cop for product moving into and out of our facility—organizing the dock schedule, anticipating conflicts, and keeping everyone informed. Responsibilities Own the daily dock schedule, coordinating inbound and outbound appointments based on dock capacity. Coordinate outbound freight and work with Purchasing to schedule inbound deliveries based on dock availability. Ensure customer orders are picked, packed, staged, documented, and ready to ship accurately and on time. Maintain finished-goods inventory accuracy through physical counts, discrepancy investigation, and clear documentation of required adjustments. Maintain controls for lot codes, FIFO, inventory locations, staging, and loading. Supervise forklift drivers and establish clear daily priorities and expectations. Qualifications Experience in shipping/receiving, logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, or a related role. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. ERP or inventory-management system experience; NetSuite and WMS experience are pluses. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Comfortable working hands-on in a warehouse and freezer environment
