Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Service & Parts Manager to lead our automotive service and parts departments. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive sales growth through effective upselling and client communication. Your mechanical expertise and dealership experience will be essential in managing a team of service technicians and parts specialists, maintaining high standards of vehicle repair, maintenance, and collision repair. Duties Lead and motivate the service and parts teams to achieve operational excellence and sales targets through proactive upselling and customer engagement. Oversee daily shop operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and ensuring timely vehicle repairs such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, alignments, and auto body repairs. Utilize estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools to accurately assess repair costs and prepare detailed service writing documentation. Manage inventory levels of parts and accessories to optimize availability while controlling costs; coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement. Maintain high standards of customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repair procedures, estimates, and vehicle status updates. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and dealership policies while fostering a positive work environment focused on teamwork and continuous improvement. Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining detailed records of all service-related financial activities. Qualifications Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair, diagnostics, and service management. Mechanical knowledge across various systems including transmissions, brakes, suspensions, air brakes, alignments, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts. Hands-on experience as a service technician or in auto service management roles. Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about complex repair issues. Demonstrated ability to upsell services and auto parts confidently while maintaining integrity. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in automobile sales is a plus.
