Job Description

Our client, a well-known bakery café and food distribution company, is looking for a Logistics Supervisor to join their team in Buena Park, CA . In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations for a team of 7+ employees while working directly on the warehouse floor to ensure safety, productivity, accuracy, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 7+ warehouse employees while actively participating in daily operations Support and oversee receiving, put-away, picking, staging, shipping, and distribution activities Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other powered industrial equipment; drive box trucks occasionally to support deliveries Partner with Dry and Freezer teams to ensure pallets are properly wrapped, labeled, staged, and ready for store delivery Perform and oversee WMS functions including receiving, put-away, picking, shipping, and inventory adjustments Conduct and oversee cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and ensure FIFO and lot/expiration-date controls are maintained Verify products, quantities, lot numbers, expiration dates, and temperature requirements during receiving and shipping Investigate receiving and shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions Enforce all warehouse safety procedures and immediately address unsafe conditions Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and quality throughout the facility

Requirements:

Previous warehouse supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping and receiving WMS experience required or strongly preferred Forklift and PIT certification preferred Ability to safely operate or learn to operate company box trucks Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Willing to perform physical warehouse duties and lead by example

Pay Rate:

$28.00

•$32.00 per hour (based on experience)

Monday

•Friday, 7:00 AM

•4:00 PM Occasional Saturdays required with advance notice
