Job Description

Brief Summary of Job:
The Back of House Manager (BOH) is a reference point and manager of all BOH Store Operations and team. They are an integral part of the entire leadership team and seen as a partner to the General Manager. Thanks to their leadership and advanced skills in inventory control, the BOH Manager motivates and trains the BOH group, thus leading the store to success. The BOH Manager works alongside the General Manager in maintaining systems and identifying areas of opportunity throughout the store but specifically in the Back of House. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to : Oversee store BOH department to ensure company and DCC compliance Communicating closely with the purchasing team for inventory needs Training fulfillment and inventory leads in inventory management systems Communicating all inventory control issues to the Corporate BOH Manager Organizing and maintaining inventory in all BOH areas of the store Scheduling and managing end-of-month inventory and promotional audits Conducting weekly cycle counts and inventory audits throughout the month Shrinkage and mis-selling variance control Intaking orders from scheduled vendors, processing all paperwork (invoices) and responsible for inventory quality control Oversee Store Compliance and systems alignment with code and company standards Oversee the following in store: PO Processing, Monthly credit requests, damaged and returned goods, product card oversight, and Cannabis waste management Display sample quality control Opens and closes the store and other store management functions when needed Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by the General Manager and the
Corporate BOH Manager Qualifications:
Experience/Knowledge/Education:
Two or more years of experience in an inventory supervisor role
Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements:
Must be 21 or older English speaking or bilingual Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations Ability to lead, prioritize, organize and make good judgments Well versed in communicating effectively and concisely Dependable Reliable transportation
Physical Requirements:
Standing and walking for long periods of time Repetitive bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting and carrying Reaching above, at and below shoulder level Lifting and carrying unassisted up to 30 lbs. of bulk goods Exposure to cleaning agents
