Job Overview Murphy Painters, Inc., a leading Florida-based painting company specialising in high-quality commercial and residential projects, is seeking a motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This is a Full-Time position based in Fresno, California, United States . The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing our company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy to maximise efficiency and productivity. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our painting projects are equipped with the necessary materials and equipment, on time and within budget, upholding our commitment to excellent service and quality craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that increase efficiency and reduce costs. Manage the procurement of all necessary materials, including paints, tools, and equipment, ensuring they meet quality standards. Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms, pricing, and delivery schedules. Maintain optimal inventory levels, forecasting demand and preventing both shortages and overstocking. Coordinate and oversee the logistics of transporting materials to various job sites across the region. Analyse supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimisation. Collaborate closely with project managers to understand material requirements for upcoming jobs. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Ensure all supply chain activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience in a supply chain management role, preferably within the construction or trade services industry. A thorough understanding of supply chain management principles, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in using supply chain management software and the MS Office Suite. A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. What We Offer A competitive hourly rate of $45.00 - $55.00 USD .
