Job Description

Materials Management Partner I Temporary - Sonoma County, CA Not remote,
Onsite Position Summary:
The Materials Management Associate is responsible for coordinating the movement and storage of raw materials, finished products, and parts. This role supports warehousing, shop, and delivery services to ensure material availability and timely delivery for production schedules. The successful candidate will compile data on order volume, production schedules, and forecasts, applying statistical methods to estimate future material requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform clerical tasks related to materials management, including tracking and documenting inventory.
  • Receive, stock, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment as needed.
  • Organize and label materials in a systematic and orderly manner for easy access.
  • Prepare reports on production progress, inventory levels, and materials costs.
  • Inspect stock items for defects or damage, promptly reporting any issues to supervisors.
  • Conduct physical counts of inventory and compare them with records to ensure accuracy, reporting any discrepancies.
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in materials management, warehousing, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Clerical skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to understand and follow directions effectively.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to compile and interpret data on order volumes, production schedules, and forecasts to assist in estimating future materials needs.
  • Familiarity with warehouse and inventory management best practices is preferred.
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
