Job Description

Inventory Control Management (40%)
  • Lead and enforce inventory control policies and best practices.
  • Oversee daily tasks and productivity of inventory control team.
  • Create and implement cycle count programs and stock replenishment schedules.
  • Conduct frequent reconciliation efforts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and defective inventory issues.
  • Partner with operations leadership to refine warehouse layout and flow.
  • Lead inventory consolidation efforts and manage replenishment logistics. Customer Service (25%)
  • Maintain active communication with clients to meet inventory service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Address client concerns and escalations related to inventory KPIs.
  • Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to ensure inventory expectations are met Supervision (25%)
  • Recruit, train, and coach inventory control team members.
  • Assign, manage, and monitor projects and day-to-day activities.
  • Provide performance feedback, coaching, and corrective action when necessary.
  • Enforce safe work practices and support a safety-first culture. Compliance & Recordkeeping (10%)
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, sanitation standards, and internal policies.
  • Audit incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain inventory records using WMS systems, scanners, and manual processes.
Required Competencies:

Tools & Equipment:
  • Standard office equipment (computers, phones, copiers)
  • Forklifts and pallet jacks (as applicable)
  • Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (required)
  • 3-5 years of inventory control experience in a warehouse/distribution center
  • Prior supervisory or management experience strongly preferred
Additional Requirements:
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in warehouse conditions.
Work Conditions:
  • Fast-paced warehouse and office environment
  • May require shift flexibility, including evenings and weekends
  • Exposure to mechanical equipment, noise, dust, and moving objects
