This is a key leadership position responsible for the overall performance of the terminal, including route operations, driver management, customer service, safety, staffing, productivity, and financial performance . Key Responsibilities Lead daily operations for a terminal supporting 75+ employees and drivers Oversee route planning, dispatch, pickup and delivery operations, and service performance Develop and manage supervisors and frontline leadership Recruit, train, coach, and hold employees accountable to performance standards Monitor operational KPIs, productivity, service levels, and operating costs Ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable transportation regulations Work closely with regional leadership to improve efficiency, quality, and profitability Foster a strong culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and customer service Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Minimum 5 years of progressive operations management experience Demonstrated experience managing 75+ employees Transportation, logistics, courier, distribution, or last-mile delivery experience strongly preferred Experience managing route-based operations and driver teams Proven ability to lead supervisors and develop high-performing teams Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven operating environment Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands-on operations leader who has successfully managed a large team in a transportation, logistics, distribution, or route-based environment.
