Director, Supply Chain - Integrated Planning Posted on August 1, 2025 August 1, 2025 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Integrated Planning to lead end-to-end demand and supply planning functions across a dynamic supply chain operation. This role is key to ensuring optimized inventory management, capacity planning, and a robust Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and a passion for building agile, data-driven planning systems. Working cross-functionally with teams across the enterprise, this leader will play a critical role in shaping the future of supply chain excellence. Position Responsibilities Integrated Planning Leadership Lead the development and execution of an integrated demand and supply planning strategy that aligns with business goals Champion continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and systems SAP IBP Implementation & Optimization Oversee the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP IBP across demand, supply, and inventory functions Ensure seamless integration with ERP and cross-functional workflows Demand Planning Strategy Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to build accurate, collaborative demand forecasts Use predictive analytics to improve forecast accuracy and responsiveness Supply & Capacity Planning Lead capacity and production planning strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize waste Manage network-wide inventory in line with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Drive the monthly S&OP process, ensuring cross-functional alignment and strategic planning Facilitate scenario modeling and proactive decision-making based on business needs New Product & Portfolio Management Plan for new product introductions, end-of-life transitions, and product lifecycle management Ensure smooth rollouts and optimized inventory levels across transitions Team Leadership & Development Mentor and grow a high-performing planning team Promote continuous improvement, accountability, and professional development Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance to drive alignment and integration Act as a key liaison between planning and enterprise functions to support business continuity Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement Establish KPIs around forecast accuracy, inventory efficiency, waste reduction, and service levels Drive a culture of performance accountability and innovation Prerequisites Bachelor's degree required Certifications (Preferred, but not Required) APICS CPIM, CSCP, or SAP IBP Certification Preferred Skills and Experiences Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field (Master's preferred) 10+ years in supply chain planning with a focus on demand/supply integration Proven leadership in implementing and optimizing SAP IBP systems Strong analytical capabilities and experience with data modeling and scenario planning Demonstrated success leading S&OP processes and managing cross-functional teams Experience in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries preferred Excellent communication, change management, and leadership skills What the Role Offers High-impact leadership opportunity in a global supply chain network Ownership of integrated planning strategy, systems, and execution Cross-functional influence and the ability to shape enterprise decision-making Work with advanced digital tools, including SAP IBP and enterprise analytics Professional development and team-building opportunities in a collaborative environment Why Sacramento?
