This person will manage fleet strategy, route and labor optimization, as well as regulatory compliance for a local 24/7 manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervises drivers (Class A, B and C). Establishes and manages service routes and fleet maintenance schedules Addresses and resolves service-related concerns and escalates service issues to appropriate level as necessary. Responsible for ensuring complete customer satisfaction by following through on all commitments and addressing all customer requests. Establishes and monitors product requirements for service routes. Initiates communication with all customers via phone and/or periodic site visitation. Documents all customer calls and site visits according to established procedures. Communicates customer requirements and concerns to Plant Manager and others. Monitors and controls schedules and time usage for drivers Manages, mentors and promotes growth with assigned drivers. Holds drivers accountable for time and service expectations. Schedules routes to ensure max efficiency & qualifies special requests. Performs daily check-in of paperwork and review of inventory. Periodically ride routes with assigned drivers to verify time usage. Review shortage sheets and orders exception reports. Maintains compliance with all applicable state and local laws and regulations. Performs other tasks and special duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Willingness to learn. 5+ years of experience Computer proficiency - MS Office programs Strong interpersonal skills Spanish speaking abilities a plus Ability to communicate proficiently with customers in
English Pay:
From $80,000.00 per year
