Job Description

Company Overview Imagine a piloted air taxi that takes off vertically, then quietly carries you and your fellow passengers over the congested city streets below, enabling you to spend more time with the people and places that matter most. Since 2009, our team has worked steadily to make this dream a reality. We've designed and tested many generations of prototype aircraft capable of serving in a network of electric air taxis. We're looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onward toward certifying the Joby aircraft, scaling our manufacturing, and launching our initial commercial service. Overview The ideal candidate for this role is a data-driven and execution-focused Project Manager, Supply Chain Analytics, who thrives in a fast-paced, highly technical environment. You should bring a strong foundation in data analysis, supply chain fundamentals, and cross-functional project coordination. At Joby, you'll play a critical role in bridging data with action — supporting part readiness, supplier risk mitigation, and alignment with aircraft development milestones. Your ability to extract insights from complex datasets, communicate clearly across teams, and drive projects to closure will directly impact our ability to bring revolutionary air transportation to market. Responsibilities Supply Chain Analysis Analyze supplier performance, procurement trends, and inventory data to identify cost savings and efficiency opportunities. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, lead times, inventory turns, and forecast accuracy. Support demand planning, capacity analysis, and sourcing strategies using data-driven modeling. Build and maintain dashboards and automated reports using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools. Project Management Lead and coordinate cross-functional supply chain initiatives such as supplier transitions, cost reduction programs, and system/tool implementations. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables in collaboration with engineering, procurement, operations, and logistics teams. Track milestones, identify risks, and escalate roadblocks to ensure successful, on-time execution. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with procurement, planning, logistics, engineering, and finance teams to align on supply chain strategies and priorities. Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure effective communication and decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in supply chain analytics, planning, or procurement.
