This role ensures efficient, safe, and cost-effective supply chain operations while maintaining accurate inventory records, asset security, and on-time, accurate order fulfillment. Responsibilities 1. Warehouse Operations Management Oversee daily operations of U.S.-based warehouses, including third-party logistics (3PL) facilities. Optimize end-to-end warehouse processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping. Develop and enforce inventory management policies to improve inventory turnover and reduce storage costs. Establish monthly inventory allocation strategies across North American warehouses to balance SKU coverage and cost efficiency. Develop and maintain cross-warehouse SOPs covering inbound inspection, storage logic, picking paths, and outbound processes. 2. Logistics & Transportation Management Manage transportation partners and carriers to control logistics costs and improve delivery performance. Analyze transportation data to optimize domestic and cross-border logistics routes and carrier selection. Handle logistics exceptions such as delays, damages, or shortages, and implement corrective actions. Make cross-warehouse transfer decisions for urgent or high-priority orders. 3. Safety & Compliance Management Ensure warehouse operations comply with OSHA safety standards and company safety policies. Oversee equipment maintenance and warehouse 6S/housekeeping standards. Identify safety risks and implement corrective action plans. Ensure the security of warehouse assets, inventory, and facilities. 4. Data & Inventory Management Provide accurate and timely operational and inventory reports as required by management and cross-functional teams. Conduct inventory analysis to improve inventory turnover and operational efficiency. Lead monthly inventory counts and submit reconciliation and variance reports. 5. Team Leadership & Development Build, manage, and develop warehouse teams, including performance management and capability development. Implement performance reviews and provide regular feedback and coaching to direct reports. Organize operational training, knowledge sharing, and team engagement initiatives. Support succession planning and talent pipeline development within the warehouse function. 6. Cross-Cultural Coordination & Regulatory Compliance Ensure warehouse and logistics operations comply with U.S. labor laws, OSHA requirements, and applicable customs regulations. Coordinate workflows between U.S. and China-based teams, addressing cross-cultural communication challenges. Support the implementation of standardized processes across regions while respecting local practices. 7. Budget & Cost Control Develop and manage the department budget, ensuring expenses remain within approved limits. Monitor and control operational costs, including warehousing, labor, and transportation expenses. Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs, with flexibility to adjust responsibilities as business conditions evolve. Qualifications Required Associate's degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience , including 3+ years in a warehouse or logistics management role . Strong understanding of warehouse operations and modern logistics practices. Experience operating or supervising forklift operations (certification preferred). Proficiency with ERP systems and standard office software. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin .
