We are seeking an experienced, visionary Logistics Professional who will work with a cross-functional team of RF Field Engineers, Cybersecurity Experts, Network/Software Developers, Hardware Engineers, and Specialized Trainers. In this role, you will drive the delivery of mission-critical systems, oversee system modernization, and ensure the operational readiness of deployed assets supporting a customer-funded program. Position Overview The Integrated Logistics Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the end-to-end Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) strategy for the SATCOM system across its full lifecycle — from development and integration through deployment, operations, and sustainment. This role ensures that ground segment equipment, space segment spares, antennas, terminals, and associated components are available where and when needed to maintain mission continuity and service availability. Key Responsibilities Logistics Strategy & Planning Develop and maintain the Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP) aligned with program requirements and DoD/industry standards (e.g., MIL-STD-471, MIL-STD-1388, MIL-STD-2168). Define logistics requirements for the SATCOM system, including ground terminals, baseband units, modems, antennas, power systems, and spares. Supply Chain & Procurement Manage sourcing, procurement, and inventory of SATCOM components and subsystems. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, OEMs, and integrators. Manage spare parts strategy, including criticality-based spare sets and depot-level repair support. Distribution & Deployment Plan and execute the shipping, transport, and deployment of SATCOM terminals and ground equipment to operational sites (fixed, mobile, and maritime). Coordinate with transportation partners for special handling of sensitive/controlled items (e.g., ITAR/EAR-controlled hardware). Maintenance & Sustainment Define maintenance concepts, repair loops, and depot-level support for SATCOM hardware. Track equipment condition, warranty, and lifecycle; plan for obsolescence and technology refresh. Support reliability, maintainability, and availability (RMA) analysis. Field Support & Mission Assurance Coordinate field-level logistics support to maintain uptime and service availability. Manage rapid-response logistics for fault recovery, terminal replacement, and contingency operations. Compliance & Configuration Control Ensure compliance with export control (ITAR/EAR), security, and configuration management requirements. Maintain accurate asset tracking and configuration records for all System hardware. Data & Reporting Maintain logistics data in
ERP/WMS/TMS
systems; produce KPIs and reports on inventory health, fill rates, turnaround times, and cost. Support cost estimation and budgeting for logistics and sustainment. Required Qualifications Active TS//SCI security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field. Or equivalent years of experience (e.g. 10+ years) 5+ years of logistics/supply chain experience, with at least 2+ years in a technical, defense, aerospace, or communications environment. Familiarity with SATCOM architecture (ground segment, space segment, user terminals) and the operational needs of satellite communications. Experience with logistics planning standards (MIL-STD-471/1388/2168 or equivalent). Strong understanding of spare parts management, maintenance concepts, and depot support. Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/Warehouse Mgt Systems (WMS)/Transportation Mgt Systems (TMS) - (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Ability to manage ITAR/EAR-controlled items and export compliance. Preferred Master's degree (MBA, M.S. Supply Chain, or Engineering). Experience supporting military, government, or commercial satellite programs. Knowledge of mobile/portable SATCOM terminals and maritime platforms. Professional certifications offered by ASCM (the Association for Supply Chain Management Certifications) : CSCP — Certified Supply Chain Professional CLTD — Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management (technical and non-technical) Program and schedule management (MS Project) Vendor and contract management Attention to detail with a focus on mission assurance and risk
Salary Range:
$115,000 - $175,000 This position offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes company equity, retirement plan, company-paid health care benefits, flexible paid time off policy, and opportunity for a raise and bonus during the year.
