You will lead a high-performing team to optimize resource utilization, drive on-time delivery, and maintain inventory health through expert use of ERP systems and data-driven strategy. Responsibilities Design and execute the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to balance labor, material availability, and equipment capacity. Lead and mentor a team of production planners, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous process improvement. Act as the primary liaison between Sales, Operations, and Purchasing to resolve supply chain bottlenecks and mitigate production risks. Analyze long-term capacity requirements to support strategic capital planning and operational growth. Drive schedule adherence and minimize production downtime by proactively identifying and addressing material shortages. Monitor key performance indicators such as inventory turns and lead times to ensure organizational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in production control, master scheduling, or supply chain management. Proven leadership experience managing planning or scheduling personnel. Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling logic. Strong analytical capabilities with a focus on root-cause problem solving. Preferred Skills
APICS/ASCM
certification (CPIM or CSCP). Expertise in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data modeling and reporting. Experience with
S&OP/IBP
processes in a complex manufacturing environment.
