Job Description

Come join our team as a Logistics Lead! The Multifamily Logistics Lead is critical to provide technical expert that supervises issues, offers input, is responsible for the oversight of multiple temporary workers day-to-day work and is critical to the organization through ensuring material is available to all multifamily field operations in a timely manner while working to achieve accurate material receiving, jobsite inventory, maintain overall communication, and reduce material and labor waste.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Proactively review material lists with project managers, superintendents, and field engineers to ensure accurate quantities of material are ordered and received with minimum overages or shortages Efficiently coordinate orders and trailer stock with all relevant parties at the onset of each project and replenish materials, as needed, as the project progresses Independently manage the movement, staging, jobsite cleanliness and organization for all materials and projects to ensure all field operations have the appropriate materials Materials should be stocked & organized in a manner that is consistent with our Warehousing discipline including item numbers Skillfully communicate with all project managers, superintendents, and field engineers to reduce overall will-calls through daily morning and afternoon meetings. If material is unavailable then work with the Purchasing Team to ensure all materials are on each jobsite when needed Directly communicate with warehouse and logistics staff to ensure rental equipment is delivered and picked up on time; share any maintenance needs discovered for tools and equipment Accurately track and communicate statuses on all outstanding backorders, when requested, in real time Proactively follow-up on all pending orders to ensure timely deliveries Precisely order, maintain, coordinate, and track inventory of materials & tools used for various field operations and report monthly and quarterly inventory levels to the multifamily purchasing department Autonomously manage material returns of unnecessary stock to vendors in conjunction with the Purchasing Team All jobsite inventories should be completed with count sheets provided by Purchasing and sent back electronically Carefully oversee material deliveries by coordinating windows of time for each truck of materials to arrive and secure proper manpower to unload materials as quickly as possible Review all materials received at each jobsite for accuracy and report backorders to purchasing team through the completion of the receiving reports Execute successful leadership of all potential MF Logistics General Labor personnel reporting to your jobsite to ensure a high level of productivity, quality and provide feedback to the MF Logistics Supervisor on their overall performance

QUALIFICATIONS A

high school diploma or GED is required, Associate or Bachelor degree preferred 1

•3 years of warehouse/logistics experience preferred A valid driver license is required OSHA 30 certification preferred Knowledge of construction jobsite management operations Proactive drive for accomplishing tasks successfully in a fast-paced environment Clear, effective communications skills

•both written and verbal Aptitude for prioritizing, planning, and problem-solving Preference for accuracy, attention to detail, and organization Mastery of entire Microsoft Suite plus Internet and email Ability to accurately manage inventory
