Job Description
Marine parts manager to direct daily operations of a marine service center's parts department. Manage inventory levels, source engine components and accessories Fulfill orders for service technicians and retail buyers Supervise department staff to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction Monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, track shrinkage, and order replacement stock or special-order components Maintain relationships with manufacturers (like Mercury, Yamaha, or Volvo Penta) and manage warranty returns or core credits Must be familiar with Mercury Marine Merc Net and warranty Coordinate closely with service manager and marine technicians to ensure required repair parts arrive on schedule Assist retail clients and commercial buyers at the counter or via phone/email with parts lookup, pricing, and quotes
