Opportunity:

A growing, nationwide leader in assembly and logistics is seeking an Inventory/Logistics Manager to oversee inventory and transportation operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team where your organizational and operational expertise will have a direct impact on efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages the day-to-day inventory operations including processing, preparation and shipment of goods to maximize efficiency and address concerns with the storage and availability of products
• Communicate with other departments to plan and set goals for inventory
• Predict, analyze and address inventory levels through data management to ensure there is enough inventory to meet demand
• Identify ways to increase productivity and streamline processes by working with technicians, suppliers, and manufacturers
• Plan and execute the storage and transportation of goods
• Develop relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Source and purchase goods for inventory
• Arrange and oversee the shipping of goods from the home office to company technicians
• Facilitate and track incoming shipments
• Provide periodic analysis and reporting
• Handle transportation, maintenance and inspection of company vehicles
• Maintain records and reports regarding the registration and maintenance of company vehicles
• Monitor and analyze inventory and usage of company vehicles
• Manage and maintain inventory databases

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communicator and collaborator across departments
• Experienced in inventory management and logistics
