Job Description

Spares Parts Manager Skelcore Miami Gardens, FL Job Details Full-time $50,000 - $60,000 a year 1 hour ago Qualifications Vendor relationship building Spanish Packing English Forklift Process management Full Job Description Job Overview The Spare Parts Manager owns the end-to-end spare parts operation for Skelcore's fitness equipment business: inventory, fulfillment, procurement, repair tracking, quality analysis, and coordination with the product team. The role ensures every distributor, customer, and service job gets the right part, fast — and that the quality of our parts continuously improves. Responsibilities Parts Inventory & Systems Manage the full spare parts inventory: stock levels, min/max thresholds, reorder points, cycle counts, and warehouse organization. Ensure every part is barcoded with a model number corresponding to the product it belongs to, and maintain the part-to-product cross-reference so any part can be traced to the correct machine model instantly. Track all repairs and all parts consumed against them — maintain complete records of which parts were used on which repair, machine, and customer, so failure patterns and parts usage are fully visible. Keep the parts catalog, SKUs, and documentation accurate and up to date as new products launch. Fulfillment & Logistics Analyze assembly manuals and exploded parts diagrams to verify the correct part is identified, ordered, and shipped to clients every time. Pick, pack, and ship parts to distributors and customers domestically and internationally with speed and accuracy. Own order status end to end: confirm receipt, provide tracking, follow up until every order and open task is closed out. Procurement Order parts from factories and third-party vendors; manage lead times, pricing, and incoming shipments. Build reliable vendor relationships and secondary sources for critical parts. Repairs & Technical Support Apply hands-on technical understanding of fitness equipment (strength and cardio) to diagnose issues, identify the correct parts, and perform or support repairs. Support service technicians, distributors, and customers with troubleshooting and parts identification. Process & SOPs Follow all company SOPs without exception. Every job must be logged into the service portal with: the detailed model number, an image of the machine, the part needed, a video of the issue, and a detailed description of the action needed. Ensure distributors, technicians, and customers submitting jobs meet the same logging standard, and chase down incomplete submissions before parts are ordered or shipped. Quality & Product Liaison Run ongoing quality analysis: track failure rates, warranty claims, and recurring issues by part and model; identify how parts quality can be improved. Liaise with the product team to ensure new products are specified with the right spare parts from day one, and feed field data back into product development. Experience Solid technical understanding of fitness equipment and proven repair skills. Strong problem solver — diagnoses root causes, not just symptoms. Highly organized, with experience running inventory systems, barcoding, and parts tracking. Comfortable reading and analyzing assembly manuals and parts diagrams to pinpoint exact parts.
Process-driven:
follows SOPs rigorously and keeps complete, detailed records in service portals and job logs.
Relentless follow-up:
closes every task, every order, every open issue. Acts with urgency and attention to detail; comfortable in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment. Experience with inventory/ERP software and barcode scanning systems preferred. 3+ years in parts management, service operations, or equipment repair (fitness industry a strong plus). Able to lift and move equipment parts; forklift experience a plus. English required; Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus given our international distributor base. Join us as a Spares Parts Manager where your expertise will fuel operational excellence! We value energetic professionals eager to streamline supply chain processes while delivering outstanding service in a vibrant environment dedicated to growth and innovation.
