Job Description Flexjet is seeking a Line Stores Manager to oversee the management of inventory and supplies for our aircraft maintenance operations. This role is critical in ensuring that all necessary parts and materials are available to support our maintenance teams efficiently. As a Line Stores Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You will work closely with maintenance teams to understand their needs and ensure timely delivery of parts and supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the inventory of aircraft parts and supplies. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Coordinate with maintenance teams to understand their inventory needs. Maintain accurate inventory records and reports. Oversee the ordering and receiving of parts and supplies. Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and loss. Train and supervise staff in inventory management practices. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts. Assist in budget management for inventory purchases. Conduct regular audits of inventory and storage areas.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; degree in logistics or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in inventory management or logistics. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of aviation parts and maintenance operations is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
