This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to run a department, not just manage a spreadsheet: you'll set the strategy, own the KPIs, lead the people, and make sure product moves out the door accurately and on time, every time. Why You'll Want This Job $90,000-$115,000/year, based on experience 100% employer-paid medical plan Additional optional benefits: 401(k) with match, dental, vision, flexible spending account, short- and long-term disability, and life insurance Join an industry leader — recognized by the International Car Wash Association for innovation, with products proudly designed and built in the USA Real strategic input: you'll help shape warehouse and shipping initiatives, not just execute someone else's plan A stable, growing company with a culture built around continuous improvement What You'll Be Doing Directing and coordinating all warehouse and shipping personnel and activities Setting strategic direction for warehouse and shipping initiatives, and building out standard operating procedures Owning departmental KPIs, budget performance, and variance analysis Managing inventory, stock locations, and overall warehouse organization Negotiating freight costs and handling shipping claims directly with carriers Hiring, training, developing, and evaluating your team — and holding regular staff meetings to keep everyone aligned Identifying and resolving safety concerns, and enforcing housekeeping standards across the department Handling scheduling, workload distribution, and time-off coverage for your team Stepping in and staying late when the department needs hands-on leadership What You Bring Bachelor's degree required 5+ years of warehouse/shipping leadership experience Proven experience managing people — hiring, training, performance reviews, and employee relations Experience with Lean material management and SAP software preferred Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Strategic thinker who can also execute — someone comfortable setting policy and walking the floor Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization Certifications a plus: CSCP, CPIM, Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Certification Working Conditions This role requires regular access to all areas of the plant, with regular standing, sitting, and moving throughout the facility.
