On-Site Competitive Pay + Excellent Benefits Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Materials Planning & Logistics (MP&L) Manager to lead and oversee materials planning, production scheduling, purchasing, warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics activities for a manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will have strong supply chain and materials management experience, preferably within the automotive manufacturing industry , and the ability to collaborate effectively across production, purchasing, logistics, suppliers, and customers. This role will play a key part in ensuring efficient manufacturing operations, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, and supporting on-time customer delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead customer scheduling, production planning, materials planning, and inventory management activities. Oversee purchasing, warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, transportation, and logistics. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components. Monitor inventory levels and develop strategies to optimize inventory while supporting production requirements. Manage customer orders and scheduling requirements to support on-time delivery. Utilize ERP/MES systems to improve planning, inventory accuracy, production visibility, and overall supply chain performance. Monitor and improve key supply chain and logistics performance indicators. Partner with production, quality, engineering, purchasing, and other departments to resolve material and scheduling issues. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen supply chain performance. Support EDI processes and customer requirements as applicable. Ensure warehouse, shipping, receiving, and material-handling processes are efficient and well organized. Identify potential supply chain risks and develop effective solutions to minimize disruptions. Lead and develop logistics and materials team members while promoting accountability and operational excellence. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management , or a related field. 5+ years of experience in materials planning, logistics, purchasing, supply chain, or a related manufacturing environment. Experience with ERP/MES systems , inventory management, and EDI. Experience with customer scheduling and production planning. Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of purchasing, warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, transportation, and inventory control. Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Korean-English bilingual skills are required . Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
