Job Description

GXO Logistics, a global leader in contract logistics, is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planning Manager to optimize planning across transportation and warehousing operations. In this role, you will own demand forecasting, capacity and inventory planning, and S&OP for key customers and networks. You will leverage data, analytics and advanced planning tools to balance service, cost and efficiency while partnering closely with operations, transportation and commercial teams. You will lead and develop a planning team, drive continuous improvement using Lean and automation, and support strategic initiatives that enhance supply chain performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end supply chain planning for assigned logistics network or customers Own demand forecasting, capacity and inventory planning to meet service and cost targets Drive S&OP processes, aligning operations, procurement, transportation and finance Use data, analytics and planning tools to identify risks, gaps and optimization opportunities Collaborate with warehouse and transportation leaders to balance labor, space and throughput Develop and track KPIs for service, inventory, productivity and cost performance Partner with customers and commercial teams to model scenarios and support new business Lead and mentor a planning team, building best practices and standard processes Champion continuous improvement, leveraging Lean and automation/technology solutions Ensure plans comply with safety, quality and regulatory requirements Required Skills Supply chain planning Demand forecasting S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) Inventory optimization Transportation and warehousing operations Data analysis and reporting Advanced Excel/analytics tools
