Back To Results Logistics Supervisor Job Description Logistics Manager You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics and supply chain management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of raw materials and finished products to meet production schedules and customer demands. Duties & Responsibilities Manage supply chain process, including inventory management and distribution logistics. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and logistics service providers to optimize costs and ensure reliable delivery of materials and finished goods. Implement strategies for efficient inventory management and control to minimize excess inventory. Collaborate with production planning teams to forecast demand and coordinate logistics to support manufacturing operations. Oversee shipping and receiving activities to ensure accurate and on time delivery of products. Ensure compliance with local and international shipping and custom regulations. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the logistics function. Lead and develop a team of logistics coordinators and warehouse personnel to ensure high performance and adherence to safety and quality standards
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration (5+ years) in logistics management within a manufacturing environment Proficiency in logistics software (ERP systems, warehouse management systems). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
