Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dealership Parts Manager to lead our parts department with enthusiasm and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee inventory management, supplier relations, procurement processes, and parts administration to ensure seamless operations. Your expertise in automotive parts, supply chain management, and dealership experience will drive efficiency and customer satisfaction. Duties Manage the entire parts inventory including sourcing, ordering, pricing, and demand planning to meet dealership needs efficiently. Develop strong relationships with suppliers through negotiation and supplier management experience to secure favorable terms and reliable delivery schedules. Oversee warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, logistics inventory management, and warehouse management systems to optimize space utilization. Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge and automotive parts expertise to assist with parts sourcing, parts administration, and internal communication. Implement and maintain inventory control procedures using ERP systems, inventory management systems, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), AS400, and order management systems. Coordinate procurement management activities ensuring timely availability of OEM parts for automotive service and repair jobs. Lead the parts team by providing training on automotive repair systems like vehicle systems diagnostics, HVAC components, auto body repair parts, and sourcing strategies. Qualifications Proven experience in dealership parts management or automotive supply chain roles with a strong understanding of automotive parts and accessories. Demonstrated skills in supply chain management, procurement management, demand planning, pricing strategies, and negotiation. Familiarity with inventory management systems such as ERP systems, AS400, Parts Management software, and logistics inventory tools. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including auto body repair components is preferred. Experience with warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, forklift operation certification preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for data entry, reporting, and internal communication purposes. Strong customer service skills combined with excellent internal communication abilities to support dealership sales and service teams. $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
