Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Foreman to lead and coordinate construction projects from start to finish. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations on-site, manage teams of skilled workers, ensure safety compliance, and maintain project schedules and budgets. Your leadership will drive project success by supervising construction activities, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring quality standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale commercial construction projects while fostering a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities Supervise and manage construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines. Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities accurately. Coordinate construction schedules using Primavera P6 or other project management software to meet deadlines. Enforce OSHA safety regulations and federal construction safety standards to maintain a safe job site for all personnel. Oversee quality control processes, ensuring work meets design specifications, building codes, and industry standards. Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, daily reports, and safety records using Prolog or similar construction management software. Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, resource allocation, and procurement strategies to optimize project efficiency. Conduct regular site inspections with tools like the ohmmeter for electrical testing and ensure compliance with construction regulations. Lead team meetings to communicate project updates, safety protocols, and address any on-site issues promptly. Review construction drawings for accuracy and coordinate with engineers or architects as needed for technical clarifications. Experience Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management roles with a strong background in supervising teams on active job sites. Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and Construction Management software like ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, or Primavera P6. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with federal OSHA safety regulations and construction safety management practices. Experience managing budgets, contracts, and procurement processes within large-scale projects. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Knowledge of construction estimating techniques including HeavyBid or similar software is a plus. Prior experience working on pipeline projects or infrastructure developments is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for effective management of crews, clients, vendors, and project stakeholders.
