Deery Brothers Chevrolet , is currently looking for a highly motivated full time Automotive Parts Manager to join our team.

The Parts Manager is responsible for stream lining error-free processes while striving to return a satisfactory profit.

Duties include but are not limited to: Properly staffing the department, which includes hiring, training, motivating and monitoring the performance of all parts department staff. Regularly review and improve the efficiency of the department. Maintaining an orderly and cleanly workplace. Working with the service department, body shop, and wholesale account representative to ensure inventory is available when needed. Determining appropriate inventory levels while ensuring periodic parts turnover. Ensure that new stock is binned promptly. Handle customer complaints tactfully, promptly, with genuine concern and deal directly with customer complaints stemming from parts issues. Establish processes to ensure accuracy between inventory and computer records. Assist in collecting on overdue accounts. Oversee shipping and receiving.

Job Requirements:

Parts managers should have at least 2 years of experience in automotive parts sales. Previous dealership experience a plus and highly desired. Require strong communication skills, written and verbal, to deal with customers, employees, and vendors. Maintain the profitability of the department while controlling expenses. Individuals working within the automotive industry may have to work extended hours and weekends to achieve goals. High School diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred. A valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record.
