Full-time Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Manager owns Wasco's end-to-end supply chain function, building a resilient supplier network, driving supplier performance, and ensuring material availability to keep production running and customers satisfied. This role leads the Supply Chain team and is the primary owner of sourcing strategy, supplier quality, purchasing systems, and supply-side risk.
Essential Functions:
Leadership & Accountability (LMA) Lead, manage, and hold the Supply Chain team accountable to performance, development, and Wasco core values. Supply & Sourcing Strategy Own the end-to-end supply base. Lead sourcing strategy, supplier selection, risk mitigation, and China+1 initiatives to build a resilient, scalable supplier network. Supplier Performance & Development Establish supplier scorecards, audits, and corrective action programs. Partner with Quality to meet Engineering-specified DPM requirements for incoming parts. Purchasing, Cost & Availability Own purchasing systems and execution. Ensure material availability, lead time management, cost control, contract alignment, and ERP accuracy in NetSuite. External Risk & Integration Partner with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Manufacturing to manage supplier quality issues, technical alignment, and supply-side risk. Own external constraint removal.
Requirements:
MIN EXPERIENCE
5+ years in supply chain management with demonstrated leadership. Precision manufacturing experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities Summary:
Leadership & Team Development Proven ability to lead, develop, and hold cross-functional supply chain teams accountable. Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management Deep experience in global sourcing strategy, supplier qualification, negotiation, and performance management including DPM and OTD metrics. ERP & Data Proficiency NetSuite and Microsoft 365 proficiency. Strong analytical and forecasting skills. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
