Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures that all inventory items are properly identified and readily accessible in accordance with the organization's inventory cycle. Oversees employees who perform inventory control functions such as inventory put-aways and all inventory movement Inventory maintenance in ERP and WMS systems Responsible for performing physical inventory counts, resolving discrepancies, and adjusting inventory system accordingly Communicates with internal stakeholders across the organization regarding inventory shortages, damages, or other inventory issues Informs internal stakeholders about updates to new item information in the system. Locates items that may have incorrect locations to assist order pickers Demonstrates and follows all food safety/HAACP and dangerous good rules Works with IC Manager to plan and control labor costs
Work Experience Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers Computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook) Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routine, and standard accepted practices Strong knowledge of food safety/ HAACP and dangerous goods 2+ years in Inventory Control or Operational role Education and/ or
Work Experience Preferred:
Minimum of an associate degree Forklift experience preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone and by computer
Additional Requirements:
May be required to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
