Job Description

Ingersoll's US operations are housed on our state-of-the-art manufacturing and marketing campus in Rockford, Illinois. We are currently accepting applications for an Inventory Control and Customer Service Manager. Essential job duties and Responsibilities include: Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, reconciliation, and inventory control activities. Investigate inventory discrepancies, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Monitor order processing, backlog management, and customer inquiries to maintain high service standards. Resolve customer issues related to orders, shipments, returns, product availability, and delivery concerns. Analyze inventory accuracy, back-orders, service levels, and other key operational performance metrics; identify trends and recommend improvements. Provide daily leadership, direction, and support to inventory control and customer service personnel. Develop and maintain inventory control procedures and customer service processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness. Supervise daily customer service operations to ensure timely, accurate, and professional support.
