  • JOB SUMMARY
  • Interns in Supply Chain will work projects focusing on inventory and procurement practices, driving automation and efficiency into daily processes and procedures that support Direct, Indirect, and Aftermarket\. The experience entails both production and supplier interface, and provides ample opportunities to work cross
  • functionally to efficiently and effectively bring Textron Aviation products to market\.
  • JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • + Assist with material planning requirements, issuing purchase orders for materials and components, expediting orders as needed, and verifying delivery dates + New process implementation and process improvement, involving developing procedures, completing problem analysis, etc\.

+ Manage inventory and reorder point of materials based on manufacturing schedules

+ Prepare reports and communications as requested

+ Perform system data analysis, maintenance, and clean

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • + Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations
  • QUALIFICATIONS
  • + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Strong analytical and problem solving skills + Action oriented and seizes opportunities + Effectively utilizes time and organizes priorities well + SAP experience is a plus Computer Proficiency \(MS Office, CAD, etc\.
